Hi All,

I have an issue with my CME 4.2 when adding Cisco IP Phone 7941 using SIP, it displays “Unprovisioned”,

This is my show run ”CME SIP Part”:

voice service voip
sip
registrar server expires max 600 min 60
!
voice register global
mode cme
source-address 10.10.10.11 port 5060
max-dn 3
max-pool 1
file text
create profile sync 000392483412277A
!
voice register dn 1
number 3005
!
voice register pool 1
id mac 001C.58F9.F8EB
type 7941
number 1 dn 1

Notes:
1. The phone has already the SIP load “I registered it first to CUCM7 as SIP to get the SIP firmware load then I tried to add this phone to my CME”.
2. CME router doesn’t have a SIP firmware load.
3. I made all “voice register” debugs and nothing displayed.

May be the phone load is the problem?

Hello:

First of all, Cisco recommends a different fw for each version of CME, if you don't use the recommended fw some of the features may not work. So the first option would be loading the correct fw for your version.

Anyway you can try this to register the phone:

Router(config-telephony)# voice Router(config-register-global)# upgrade
Router(config-register-global)# create profile

Assume you have the option 150 tftp server set to right router?

Hi
below voice register global put this command:

load 7941 "firware that you see on the phone"

In this way when the CME create the SIP confiogurati8on file for the phone will tell to the phone that its firware is correct.
